Multicultural Summit

This event began as the African American Mental Health Summit in 2004. A Native American Mental Health Summit was hosted in 2009. NAMI Tennessee also hosted a GLBTQ Mental Health Summit in 2009. In 2012, the format was changed and the event became the Multicultural Summit. NAMI Tennessee is interested in continuing this important service for the community and is currently seeking funding for this endeavor.

Healing the Hidden Wounds

To address the specific circumstances of our active duty veterans, NAMI Tennessee presents Healing the Hidden Wounds Conference. This Conference was held in multiple locations across the state of Tennessee between 2010 and 2011 to highlight veterans issues and raise awareness of the particular mental health issues faced by veterans, both active duty and retired.
