Local affiliate groups are the heart of NAMI Tennessee. Affiliates are made up of volunteers, friends and family of people with long-term mental illness, who come together to support each other, learn more about mental illness, educate their communities and advocate for change.

In your local NAMI affiliate, you’ll find people you can talk with and information that can help. Local affiliate groups offer classes like Beginnings/NAMI Basics (for parents and caregivers of children with mental illness) and With Hope in Mind (for family and friends of adults with mental illness). Tennessee’s 45 affiliates are located in communities throughout the state, from Mountain City to Memphis. There’s one near you.

If not, contact the NAMI Tennessee office at (800) 467-3589 ext. 307 and leave a voice mail for Brenda Stacey-Scott, Assistant Administrator.
